My commitment to fitness began in 2015. I became a Certified Personal Trainer in December of 2015 through the National Academy of Sports Medicine's coursework. I landed my first personal training position less than 2 weeks later.
Over the course of the next couple years, I trained at a few different gyms, gaining experience with a vast array of clients and sharing my passion for fitness. During this time I became a Performance Enhancement Specialist and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist through NASM.
The time has come for me to utilize the wealth of knowledge that I have compiled. I have made it my mission to turn myself into the ultimate trial of my own expertise. There would be absolutely no reason for you to trust my message if I was anything less than the physical proof of my words.
Stay tuned...because I am taking you on this journey with me! I look forward to the eyes of the world being on me and I know that there is no harsher critic than myself.
Sounds like a lot of pressure, right?
That's ok. I was made for this.
I went to high school in Granby, Massachusetts. While I was in school, I was always interested in bodybuilding, but I never took it seriously enough to make real progress. However, I knew that I didn't want to go to college coming out of high school, so I decided to look into possible opportunities in the fitness industry.
Naturally my searches pointed to becoming a personal trainer.
I spent the summer learning the science and psychology needed to be an effective trainer, while developing my own body using this newly learned information. You could say that I was my own first client!
After becoming certified, I worked at a few different gyms in western Massachusetts. Each gym gave me experience with different people and their respective experience and goals. It truly was a tremendous learning experience!
In March of 2018, I moved to Connecticut to be with the love of my life, Hannah. It was an easy decision to drop everything in Mass and move an hour south because I need to be with her! This move led me to pursue career opportunities outside the realm of fitness. While I do miss being a personal trainer, I recognize that I am actually able to reach and motivate a much larger group of people through social media than I ever could in person.
I have never been more motivated to push myself to new levels and more excited to help others find their passion for fitness!
There is no time like the present! Nothing can hold me back! I was made for this!
